Family Planning

All seven doctors are able to give advice on family planning and all forms of contraception during normal surgeries. In addition the practice nurses are qualified to give family planning advice. We also offer a service of coil insertion and long-acting contraceptive implants.

Maternity Care

Maternity care is provided by the community midwife in conjunction with the doctors. All seven doctors are qualified to provide maternity care. Generally the antenatal care is shared with the hospital and patients are offered the choice of attending Worthing Hospital or St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Cervical Smears

This test can be performed by the practice nurses by appointment. We currently recommend that all women between the ages of 25 and 49 who are, or have been, sexually active should have a smear taken every 3 years and those ages between 50 and 64 should have a smear every 5 years.

If you wish to be referred for counselling please make an appointment to see a doctor.
